During course of 15 weeks, teaching occurs through series of studio exercises. Students attendance to classes is mandatorry. Alongside, homeworks are given regularly in order to establish continuous drawing practice. As to achieve intended skills compliance to default set of drawing rules is continuously encouraged.
Construction of thinking process and its visualisation are being studied as well as necessity
for close collaboration between 'mind and hand' in course of development of architect's idea.
Drawing skills adopted during Course I are further developed. Students are introduced to a more sophisticated drawing skills in order to encourage them to use drawing freely and more often for the benefit and richness of architectural creative process. Immediacy of drawn space as a first visible form of imagined spatial idea is promoted as possible and stimulative part of architectural thinking. Resonating between imagination and realisation, an accurate and disciplined drawing is therefore mandatory achievement for each student. Alongside, terms as visual thinking and graphic culture are continuously emphasized and explained in various examples aiming to develop students skills and understanding of visual expression rules.
